I am please to introduce International Members from the USA who have joined our Family of COMBATSOMBO Practitioners

While serving in the US Navy, Mr. Tolbert’s first experience with Sombo comes from his Judo club in Japan. (He subsequently spent a decade as brown belt in Judo and finally tested for Black Belt under Grandmaster Yoon in early 2009.) In Japan after the Cold War, there were few Eastern European sailors that had trained in Sombo in their home Countries of Belarus and Lithuania. They introduced Mr. Tolbert to Sombo and helped him see how powerful this martial art could be; applied either as a sport or self defence art. The same was true for their influence on his Judo techniques. After leaving Japan and the Navy in 95, he worked out in various grappling and boxing programs in Ohio, North Carolina, and Georgia.

He started training BJJ in 2003, and now instructs under Thadeu Vieira of the WBJJA. He continues to be a student and teacher and brings inspiration and technical expertise to his students at A Plus Martial Arts in Woodstock, GA.

Shidoshi Bebee began training in martial arts in 1995 studying the art of Kenpo and Wrestling, after a few months he became disinterested with the skills being taught and soon left to pursue training on his own. In January 1997 he started training under the tutelage of Master William Rufus in Kung Fu and freestyle karate. Later he met Sensei Bill Bryan and Grand Master Shihan Ron Bennett in August of 1997 and has remained training in the art of Taikenju Ryu. Shidoshi Bebee has had the opportunity to study many forms of martial arts and has attained Black Belt as well as beginner and intermediate level ranks in different arts.

Shidoshi Bebee is also highly skilled in Kenpo Karate, Jun Fan/Jeet kune do, Thai Boxing, Kali / Arnis, Tae Kwon Do, Judo / Jujitsu, Tomiki Aikido, Ninjutsu and Kobudo training.

He is Certified Medical Assistant (Cittone Institute Graduated with high honors) and Healthcare Provider CPR/ AED First Aid (certified - American Red Cross).

I have trained in traditional Japanese Jujutsu, Judo, Sambo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and American Catch Wrestling. I have trained with a former pro boxer and collegiate wrestler who is now my MMA coach for the past few years. He is an expert in BJJ and Sambo. I have a 3-1 record in the Cage of Fury organization, all 3 wins via first round submission, and I am the owner of Anaconda MMA in St. Peters. I train submission grappling (BJJ, Judo, Sambo, CACC Wrestling, Budo Taijutsu) for several hours a day.
