Sport CombatSombo now Insured
For some time now I have been working with our Insurance Broker to get cover for Sport CombatSombo and I am pleased to say that with some modification to the rules which you can find at http://www.combatsombo.co.uk/sport_combatsombo_uk_rules.htm, the Insurance company has agreed to insure us. I hope to run the 1st Sport CombatSombo Coaches Course on Sunday March 28th cost £50 (This depends on how my hip operation is goes in January) to coach Sport CombatSombo you must be an IBFBCSA member, Sports CombatSombo Coach and be covered by IBFBCSA PI Insurance , to date there is no qualified Sports CombatSombo Coach apart from myself. Further to our telephone conversations and emails regarding the inclusion of British Sport Combat Sombo, Sportscover have agreed to include this as an additional activity within the existing policy, subject to the following:-
The Rules and Regulations as lodged with Sportscover are followed at all times;
Cover is for Mat based activities only – excluding all ringwork.
Protective equipment to be worn during all contact activities.
Classes only run by qualified coaches in this discipline.
